Area of Giving

• General Donation to Zoo Operations
  Choose this option if you would like your donation to be used in the area it is most needed.
  
  
• ZooReach Scholarship Fund for Underprivileged Children
  ZooReach scholarships support Zoo experiences for underprivileged children, including a discount on admission, free Outreach programs and free Night Camps. Funds donated would increase the number of programs we could provide.
  
  
• Educational Zoo Programming
  Our Programs and Experiences department provides many of the classes and activities around the Zoo, as well as the daily Animal Encounters. Funds donated would support the number and range of program animals available, as well as potentially increase the number of daily classes and activities.
  
  
• Animal Exhibit Improvements The Phoenix Zoo strives to exhibit our animals in habitats that are appropriate to their natural environment, and that give them enrichment opportunities. Funds donated would allow renovation and updating of exhibits to provide the animals a better environment.
  
  
• Conservation & Sanctuary Fund
  The Zoo is focusing more on conserving existing species (such as our Black-Footed Ferret breeding program) and providing a sanctuary for certain animals (such as our elephants). Funds donated would allow us to increase the number of animals we can support.

One Time vs. Recurring Donation

• One Time Donations
  allows the donor to make one payment of any amount (minimum $10) as a donation.
  
  
• Recurring Donations
  allows the donor to spread out payments monthly or quarterly for the period you choose. These payments will be automatically deducted from a credit card or checking account.

Gift Donations

You may make a one-time or recurring donation in the name of a gift recipient. We can then notify them of your gift by mail, email or you may choose not to have them notified by us (if you wish to do so yourself).

Tax Receipt

Your donation is tax deductible! You will be emailed a receipt; please be sure to print it for your records. If you choose recurring donations, you will receive monthly receipts.
